Design #01.
PARTY TIME!
Author1: Jono Art Description:
I truly enjoy and appreciate the Asian culture. I especially love the food! I wanted to keep the theme of my flyer with that of the culture. In Asian culture, the color gold represents prosperity and wealth. Indicating that I wish prosperity and wealth to all. I went with red for the lettering because it signifies good fortune and happiness, meaning that I wish everyone good fortune and happiness. The tiger is a symbol of courage and bravery, reminding us to always be strong, and no matter what life challenges come at us, to approach them bravely and not be afraid.

Author3: Melissa Ye
Art Description:
My flyer design is super colorful and fun! It has a yummy bowl of noodles, a cute live fish and frog, tasty sushi rolls, BBQ sausage, Vietnamese salad, and bubbly boba drinks-all brought to life with smiling chopsticks. The yellow-golden background reflects the cozy atmosphere of the fall season, perfectly setting the stage for a festive celebration of Asian cuisine.! The artwork radiates joy and creativity, inviting everyone to join the fun at the Asian Food Festival.
DESIGN #04.
Bond with Culture
Author4: Vivian XuArt Description:
This design is a combined media piece, consisting of oil paint and digital. The oil painted part is inspired from real life where I cook Asian foods for dinner. The lanterns and cymbal were drawn digitally. Additionally, I added lanterns and cymbals as culture celebrations and community. Text is from the website and Instagram. The overall color scheme is set to Asian colors: red and yellow.

DESIGN #07.
Mckinney Minimal
Author7: Luke GArt Description:
I kept the yellow and red color scheme, but went with a cleaner, more simple layout and design. In an effort to keep it clean and minimal, I left the M bamboo brand off of this one for now, focusing instead on a happy little bowl of ramen.
DESIGN #08.
DSLR & Dumplings
Author8: Luke GArt Description:
This design features vibrant food photography, with people diving in to represent the communtiy and connection that happens around food. Utilized a more modern clean font, and leaned away from specific Asian themes in the design - letting the food photo shine.
DESIGN #09.

Author9: Luke GArt Description:

Big Stretch Ramen
Author11: Mary Ellen Gonsiorek Art Description:
I’m a huge ramen fan. My illustration is to take the lucky cat and bring lucky ramen to all festival goers! In fact, I have a lucky Neko in my house in front of my drawing station next to a Sailor Moon Luna illustration. Bringing my inner child out, I came up with this illustration.

Collection of Asian foods and eye-catching visuals and bright colors to attract viewers to the poster.
DESIGN #13.
Red Eye Catching Logo
Author13: Rosa SummersArt Description:
My design was focused on creating a logo or something similar for the event. I used bright red to catch the eye of readers but also showcase the importance the color red has in many Asian cultures. I tried to make the flyer neutral and not focusing too much on one specific culture. I also made sure to add a QR code, embedded website (people can click on this in pdf format and be directed to your website), and lastly a question email for things like parking, etc. I hope you enjoy!
DESIGN #14.

DESIGN #15.
McKinney Asian Food Festival Pop
Author15: Morakoth Chev Art Description:
For this poster design, I was inspired by blending bright neon colors of Asian pop culture with traditional patterns from Across Asia. I used bold typography, neon gradients, and pixel inspired designs to reflect the modern energy of Asian pop culture. With these contemporary elements, I then paired it with decorative cloud like borders to symbolize the balance and uniqueness between the different Asian communities. Connecting back with the theme of the Asian food festival, I also included recognizable Asian street food snacks from various cultures to enhance the diversity and reflect the vibrant Asian communities within McKinney.
