About Artist Alley
Artist Alley is a curated marketplace within the McKinney Asian Art & Food Festival showcasing independent artists, makers, and cultural artisans.
This space highlights original work inspired by Asian traditions, contemporary creativity, and cross-cultural expression. Festival guests can shop for artwork, meet artists, and enjoy live demonstrations and interactive art activities.
Booth Information
- Standard Artist Booth: Size: 8′ x 6′ , Fee: $150
- Corner Booth (Limited Availability): Fee: $225, Premium visibility location
Eligible Artists
Artist Alley is open to all independent creators. Preference is given to original, handcrafted work. Mass-produced or resale items are not permitted.
Live Demonstrations (Optional)
Artists may apply to host a 1-hour live demonstration during the festival. Demonstrations help engage visitors and showcase artistic techniques. Participation is optional and subject to festival approval.
Community Art Wall (Optional)
The Community Art Wall is a collaborative project where festival guests contribute to a shared mural guided by participating artists.Artists may choose to:
- Assist attendees with techniques or cultural context
- Offer guidance or creative prompts
Participation is optional. The wall is intended to foster engagement and celebrate community diversity.
