The Asian Moon Festival, also known as the Mid-Autumn Festival, is a time-honored celebration observed by various Asian cultures. This joyous event marks the harvest season and is celebrated on the 15th day of the 8th lunar month, when the moon is at its brightest and fullest.Families and friends come together to enjoy mooncakes, light lanterns, and admire the beautiful full moon. The festival is a symbol of unity, prosperity, and gratitude, and it highlights rich traditions, cultural performances, and delicious food.Join us in celebrating the Asian Moon Festival and experience the beauty and heritage of this vibrant cultural event!
About General Association of Henan in Dallas USA
Dallas Henan Association was founded in 2019 dedicated to supporting and uniting Chinese Americans living in the Greater Dallas-Fort Worth area who share a common regional origin of Henan China. In 2022, the organization became a tax-exempt nonprofit entity under Internal Revenue Service Code 501C (3), registered as General Association of Henan in Dallas USA (GAHD).
